A viral video has surfaced showing the tense moment security operatives apprehended a young man hiding inside the ceiling of an FCMB branch. Eyewitnesses said the suspect allegedly sneaked into the bank during working hours, locked himself in the restroom, and then climbed into the ceiling, waiting for nightfall to carry out his plan. The next morning, staff arriving for work found the bank’s main entrance mysteriously locked from within. Sensing trouble, they forced the door open and heard suspicious noises coming from above. Security personnel eventually pulled the suspect down from the ceiling, discovering that he had tried to interfere with the bank’s systems overnight. In the video, he is seen being dragged down, beaten, and tied up with a rope by security staff and bystanders. As of press time, FCMB had not released an official statement regarding the incident.
