Afrobeat star Chike Osebuka has revealed he has no plans for marriage, calling it a “stupid step.” In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the 32-year-old singer said marriage is not his priority right now. Chike, known for his love ballads, admitted that his happiness depends more on financial stability than romance. He confessed, “To be honest, I need a lot of money to be happy. I love money.” The singer also recalled his early struggles, when he turned to acting just to survive. He revealed how friends abandoned him when he needed support to stage a ₦400,000 show. According to Chike, a female friend eventually stepped in and gave him the funds. From Project Fame to The Voice, Chike has grown into one of Nigeria’s most soulful voices.
