The naira appreciated to N1,595 per dollar in the parallel market on Tuesday, up from N1,600 per dollar on Monday. Meanwhile, it remained stable at N1,550 per dollar in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), according to data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). As a result, the gap between the parallel market and the NFEM rate narrowed to N45 per dollar, down from N50 on Monday.
