
Renowned gospel singer and pastor, Nathaniel Bassey, will mark his 44th birthday on Friday with a worship experience inside the Kirikiri Medium Security Prison in Lagos.
The celebrated minister announced on Instagram that he will be hosting a one-day edition of the globally recognized Halleluyah Challenge with inmates of the facility.
“Tomorrow for my birthday, I praise and celebrate with my brethren in prison,” he wrote.
Since its launch in 2017, the Halleluyah Challenge has grown into one of Africa’s most influential online prayer movements, attracting thousands of Christians nightly for an hour of praise and worship.
The initiative has inspired numerous testimonies of healing, breakthroughs, and answered prayers worldwide.
Bassey, famous for worship hits like Onise Iyanu and Imela, has consistently used his ministry to promote unity, revival, and community among Christians both in Nigeria and internationally.
