The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted widespread rains and thunderstorms across the country from Monday through Wednesday. According to the forecast, thunderstorms with moderate rainfall will affect parts of the northern states—Jigawa, Zamfara, Kano, Kaduna, Bauchi, Yobe, and Katsina—on Monday morning, while afternoon showers are expected to extend to Kebbi, Adamawa, and Taraba.
