Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has sent heartfelt congratulations to Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, the former Deputy Governor, on his 57th birthday, celebrated on April 16.
In a statement issued in Asaba on Wednesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori praised Otuaro for his dedicated service and significant contributions to the success of the ‘Smart Agenda’ and ‘Stronger Delta’ programs during the previous administration.
The Governor highlighted Otuaro’s instrumental role in fostering peace and stability in the Niger Delta, particularly through his leadership of the Peace Advocacy Committee Against Oil Facility Vandalism, which had a major impact on boosting oil production both in the state and nationally.
“In recognition of your vital role, you were deservedly honoured with the Niger Delta Peace Ambassador Award in 2019 by Daily Independent Newspapers Limited,” Oborevwori noted.
"On behalf of my family, the government, and the good people of Delta State, I congratulate you, my dear brother and former Deputy Governor, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, Esq., as you mark your 57th birth anniversary.
"As a committed party member and statesman, your contributions to the growth and progress of Delta State remain remarkable.
"With your continued support and that of fellow Deltans, we will press forward in building the Delta of our dreams—one anchored on peace, security, and sustainable development.
"I pray that God continues to bless you with good health and many more years of impactful service to humanity and devotion to the Almighty," the Governor concluded.
