
The families of Seideware of Arotenghanbiri Quarters and Arereware of Oturubiri in Ogbe-Ijoh, Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State, have announced the passing of, Late Elder Sunday Aleibiri Yebide, the Amaokusu-wei of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom.
According to the family, represented by Yebide Godwin and Amadon J.T., the burial rites are scheduled to commence with a wake-keeping ceremony on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at his father’s compound in Seideware, Arotenghanbiri Quarters, Ogbe-Ijoh. The body will be transferred from Veneel Mortuary to Ogbe-Ijoh on Friday, June 6.
They also stated that a thanksgiving service will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Church of God Mission in Ogbe-Ijoh.
Elder Yebide, the respected Amaokusu-Wei of Ogbe-Ijoh/Warri Kingdom, peacefully “slept on the Lord” on March 11, 2025, at the age of 86.
