Victor Osimhen has rejected a big-money offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, leaving the door open for a potential switch to Manchester United.
The Nigerian forward, currently under contract with Napoli but fresh off a prolific loan spell at Galatasaray, was offered a massive £25.3 million annual salary by Al-Hilal, who agreed to activate his €75 million (£63.2 million) release clause—applicable to non-Serie A clubs.
Despite the lucrative deal, Osimhen turned it down, with *Football Italia* reporting that he prefers to remain in Europe.
The 26-year-old was in sensational form in Turkey last season, scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances, and has since attracted interest from several top European clubs.
Manchester United, now under the leadership of Ruben Amorim, are said to be keeping a close eye on the striker's situation.
Al-Hilal, coached by ex-Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi, were keen to secure Osimhen’s services ahead of the Club World Cup. Although their initial offer was rejected, a second, improved bid was also declined by the player.
