Pep Guardiola and his wife, Cristina Serra, are reportedly working on rekindling their relationship after spending Easter weekend together in Barcelona.
The pair, who tied the knot in 2014, separated in January, with divorce proceedings beginning shortly after. However, Catalan outlet *El Nacional* reports they are now “ready to give each other another chance.”
Serra, a fashion entrepreneur, relocated to Barcelona in 2019 with their youngest child. Some believe Guardiola’s decision to extend his Manchester City contract may have contributed to the split.
To bridge the gap, Guardiola is said to be planning frequent visits to Catalunya.
Together since 1994, the couple share three children.
Amid his personal challenges, Guardiola remains focused on leading Manchester City to a top-four Premier League finish and an FA Cup title. However, any potential summer break could be curtailed by City’s participation in the Club World Cup.
