The House of Representatives on Tuesday approved the four tax reform bills submitted to the National Assembly by President Bola Tinubu in October 2024. Last Thursday, the House reviewed and endorsed the report from the Committee on Finance, which included recommendations on contentious issues like Value Added Tax and inheritance tax. With the Senate's approval still pending, the bills are expected to be forwarded to the President for assent in the coming days.
