Hon. Spencer Okpoye, Commissioner representing the Ijaw nationality on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), has extended birthday greetings to Chief Solomon Arenyeka, the former Delta State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a goodwill message released on Wednesday and made available to Waffi TV, Hon. Okpoye described Chief Arenyeka as “a true and seasoned leader,” whose political journey has been marked by vision, integrity, and a strong sense of purpose. He praised the former PDP chairman for his commitment to unity and progress during his brief but impactful tenure at the helm of the party in Delta State.
Reflecting on the recent defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC), Okpoye expressed confidence that Solomon Arenyeka's leadership prowess will once again come to the fore in his new political base. He noted that Arenyeka’s wealth of experience, political intelligence, and people-oriented approach would play a pivotal role in repositioning the APC for success ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He concluded by wishing Chief Solomon Arenyeka continued success, good health, and greater achievements in all facets of life.
