Hon. Spencer Okpoye, the commissioner representing the Ijaw ethnic nationality on the DESOPADEC board, has congratulated Delta State Governor, Rt Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, on his two-year anniversary in office. In a statement shared with Waffi TV on Thursday, Okpoye also extended his felicitations to the Deputy Governor, Chief Monday Onyeme. Hon. Okpoye praised Governor Oborevwori for his commitment to the MORE agenda, according to him, the governor’s implementation of this agenda has brought significant benefits, particularly to the Ijaw oil-producing communities, improving their social and economic conditions. Expressing his personal gratitude, Okpoye thanked Governor Oborevwori for the confidence reposed in him by allowing him to continue serving as the Ijaw commissioner on the DESOPADEC board. He reaffirmed his dedication to advancing the goals of the MORE agenda within the Ijaw oil producing communities, promising to work tirelessly to ensure the effective delivery of projects and initiatives that promote sustainable development and improve the welfare of the people.
