Nigerian international music sensation Tems delivered a mesmerizing performance at the 2025 Dreamville Festival, captivating thousands of fans with her soulful voice and stage presence at the annual event organized by American rapper and Dreamville founder, J. Cole. Tems, one of the headline acts at the sold-out festival, took the stage in North Carolina alongside other global stars including PartyNextDoor. Performing a selection of her chart-topping singles, she commanded the stage with effortless charisma and artistry that further cemented her status as one of Africa’s brightest musical exports. A standout moment came when she was joined by J. Cole for a live performance of their collaborative track "Free Fall" featured on her recently released debut album, Born In The Wild. The crowd erupted as the two artists delivered a flawless rendition, marking one of the most memorable highlights of the night. Her Dreamville appearance follows her equally acclaimed performance in South Africa, one of the stops on her ongoing Born In The Wild world tour. Since rising to global fame in 2020, Tems has maintained an impressive momentum, consistently delivering both critically and commercially successful projects. Earlier this year, she performed at London’s iconic O2 Arena during the unveiling of Aston Martin’s 2025 Formula 1 car another high-profile moment that underscored her growing influence beyond the music industry. In addition to her live performances, 2025 has already proven to be a landmark year for the singer. Tems won her second Grammy Award at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, taking home the trophy for Best African Music Performance. She also added four new RIAA certifications to her expanding list of accolades, further establishing her dominance on the international scene. In celebration of Women’s History Month, Spotify recognized Tems alongside fellow African stars like Ayra Starr and Tyla as part of a select group of female artists breaking global barriers and redefining the African music narrative. With her voice, vision, and versatility, Tems continues to break new ground and inspire a new generation of African artists. Her trajectory in 2025 points to even greater achievements as she expands her global footprint.
