Former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung, has alleged that Nigerians are being lured into joining the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Dalung claimed that some individuals were mobilising citizens to attend APC rallies merely to give President Bola Tinubu a false impression of public support.
Speaking on Trust TV, the former minister under the administration of late President Muhammadu Buhari accused the APC-led government of mismanaging the nation’s resources and neglecting its development.
He said: “We are encouraging so many people to join APC because they have refused to invest the resources of this country in development, so we are sending people.
“Watch out during APC rallies, the crowd you will see there will deceive the president to go and be resting in France.
“During the Endgovernance protest, we had money and when we realized that the ministers were carrying money and calling yam people to give them N20, 000, we disengaged our followership and encouraged them to go to the houses of ministers to insult man called Solomon Dalung who is wearing red barret and deceiving them.
“They collected N20,000 and brought it, that was the money we used in buying minerals and food on the day of the protest.
“We are encouraging people to go because it’s our money and have refused to invest it in the development of our country.”
