WaffiTV:The Court of appeal has dismissed the movement brought by the beset suspended Chief Justice Of Nigeria, ( CJN ), Walter Onnoghen looking for a stay of action in his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT.
The ruling was conveyed by a three-man panel, driven by Justice Abdul Aboki.
The court stated, in perspective of the provision of Section 306 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), it came up short on the ability to stay procedures in criminal cases.
By the ruling, the CCT is presently allowed to continue procedures in the charge before it.
The government is indicting him for supposed false assets declaration.
