Otuaro commiserates with the Jemide’s family over the death of her Patriarch

The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro has condoled with the Jemide family and the Itsekiri nation over the death of their patriarch, a renowned leader in Itsekiri, Chief Barr. Isaac Omirestuli Jemide, the Oshodi of Warri kingdom who died at the age of 88.

Late Jemide an octogenarian was a prominent legal luminary, member of the defunct Bendel State House of Assembly as well as the former Delta State Representative in the defunct Oil Mineral Producing Areas Development Commission (OMPADEC).

Otuaro in a condolence message signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Elohor Agbra described the late Jemide as a man who lived a fulfilled life, a unifying factor in Itsekiri kingdom and renowned for writing his name in marble at the different offices he occupied.
As one of the founding fathers of Rotary club in Warri, Pa Jemide’s philanthropic gestures spread far and wide.

“Chief Jemide was forthright, a man of impeccable qualities and was committed to the cause of his people.
He contributed in no small measures to bringing peace to Warri during its crisis.”

” I commiserate with the Jemide family and the entire Itsekiri nation over the death of an illustrious son, Chief Isaac Jemide. Pa Jemide impacted lives, he was a political icon and an upright leader” says Deputy Governor Otuaro.

Otuaro prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest and strengthen his family and the entire Itsekiri nation to bear the irreparable loss.
