Ronaldo’s agent in talks with Barcelona over shock move from Man Utd

Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes has held talks with Barcelona president, Joan Laporta, about the possibility of signing the Manchester United forward who is eager to leave Old Trafford this summer.

The 37-year-old informed United he wants to leave, so he can join a club competing in the Champions League next season.

Ronaldo missed pre-season training on Monday due to “family reasons”.

He has already been linked with Roma, Bayern Munich and Chelsea.

But now a new, shock name has emerged, with Spanish newspaper AS reporting that Mendes has been meeting with Laporta.

The pair met on Monday evening for dinner and the prospect of signing Ronaldo was on the agenda.
