that the pending decisions will characterize the eventual fate of the nation.
Symington, while tending to journalists in the wake of meeting with the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, at the Government House, Port Harcourt, pronounced that all organizations of government must make the wisest decision.
“All of the institutions of government must do what is right. An election is not a matter of life and death.”
The US Ambassador stated that he was confident that on election day offsprings of the powerful would not be authors of violence .
“It is a matter of defining the future of Nigeria. There must be free, fair and credible elections.
“I am quite confident that on election day, the sons and daughters of the powerful will not be out there causing violence,” he said.
On the campaigns, he charged the electorate to dependably ask their political leaders, to layout routes through which they would complete their promises.
