A group of female secondary school students have been suspended for forming a cult group called “Marlian”, which is in reference to the group of fans of Afro-pop singer, Naira Marley.
A parent, who narrated the issue, said a female student’s underwear was seen in her school bag and upon further investigation, it was realized that she wasn’t wearing an underwear; a signature of the Marlian group, who pride themselves in not wearing underwears or belts.
The student would eventually confess to being a member of the Marlian cult in school. After further probes, the student in question, whose identity has been hidden given that she’s a minor, admitted that the Marlian cult members do not wear underwears on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
